One Seminary, Two Programs
Bishop White Seminary contains two distinct and integrated programs: Cor Christi and Bishop White Discipleship. Together, they offer whole-person formation in tight-knit communities, initiate seminarians into deeper priestly discernment, and equip them for the next step in their vocational journey.
Cor Christi
Preparing to Discern
Our Cor Christi propaedeutic program forms happy, healthy, holy men who know the Lord Jesus, understand the Catholic faith, and have deeply discerned their vocation. Its purpose is to give men a solid foundation as they begin priestly formation.
Bishop White Seminary
Discernment
Bishop White Seminary provides human, spiritual, intellectual, and pastoral formation for seminarians in the dioceses of the Western United States. We are a small seminary with a strong emphasis on community life and fraternal unity, which forms the basis for all other aspects of formation. Our men are very well-prepared to move from the Discipleship stage of Formation into the Configuration stage.
