Melchizedek Project

Is Jesus calling you to be a Catholic priest? It’s not an easy question to answer. It takes prayer and study to discover your true vocation.

The Melchizedek Project is a discernment group for young men like you who love Jesus Christ and His Church, and who are willing to talk with other like-minded men about their future.

The group uses as a guide Fr. Brett Brannen’s inspiring book, To Save a Thousand Souls: A Guide for Discerning a Vocation to Diocesan Priesthood.

The group meetings are NOT meant to convince you that priesthood is your vocation. You could very well be called to marriage or another vocation. But if you’re a faithful Catholic young man–even if you’re currently dating–at some point you have to ask yourself whether God is calling you to be a priest.

Times: 3:00-4:00pm Sundays (Grades 9-12).  6:45-7:45pm Sundays (College & older)
Dates: January 21, 28; February 4, 11, 18, 25; March 11

Quo Vadis Days

For many young men today, it is very difficult to prayerfully listen to the Lord and discern where God wants us to go.  Ultimately, we know that we can only find true peace when we rest in God. Held each summer, the Quo Vadis Days retreat will help you examine your prayer life, draw closer to God, and offer practical tips on how to listen more intently to the Lord, and follow wherever He calls you.

Priests and seminarians are on hand to help you along your journey of faith.

If you are interested in attending next summer’s Quo Vadis Days retreat, please visit the Quo Vadis Days website, or contact us, for more information. Let God have this time to talk about where He might be leading you.

Coming this summer: June 25-28, 2018
