Matching Gifts

Does your company have a Matching Gift program? A matching gift maximizes your donation. If your employer has a matching gift program, please consider submitting a matching gift form along with your contribution.

Donor Advised Funds

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving vehicle that provides an immediate tax benefit to you as the donor and allows you to recommend grants to your favorite charities. When granting through your DAF, please use the following information:

Endowments

The Diocesan endowment funds provide monetary support to ensure the quality of priestly formation at the Seminary

IRA Transfers

Transfer a gift directly from your IRA or other Qualified Retirement Plans to Bishop White Seminary as part of your Required Minimum Distribution. If you are at least 70 ½ years old you can donate up to $100,000 annually from your IRA and receive tax benefits in return.

Stock Donations/Transfers

We welcome gifts of stocks and securities which can provide significant tax advantages to donors. To initiate the electronic transfer of stock, please contact the Bishop White Seminary with the name of the stock, the number of shares, and your gift designation.

Legacy Giving

A Planned Gift is a charitable contribution made during your lifetime or any bequest that takes effect upon your death. A planned gift can be as simple as an outright gift of cash or as sophisticated as a charitable trust that is integrated into a multifaceted financial and estate plan. While all planned gifts benefit the seminary, some also benefit you and your estate through reduction in income tax and/or estate transfer taxes.
