A new building has been purchased nearby Bishop White Seminary in anticipation of the Vatican’s new requirement of a “Propaedeutic Phase” of formation. The new building, called McGivney Hall, will be renovated to house men who have been accepted as seminarians, but who will benefit from 1-2 years of Christian formation before beginning seminary proper.

The Diocese of Spokane is in the beginning stages of creating a robust “Propaedeutic Program” to serve not just our own seminarians, but men from dioceses throughout the Northwest region.
